The Telangana “ghost” continues to haunt the Tollywood, even though there is a lull in the Telangana movement of late.
On Saturday, the pro-Telangana activists stalled the shooting of “Maryadaramanna” starring comedian Sunil in the lead role. The shooting was taking place at Ramadugu near Jagityala, which is a stronghold of Telangana activists. They did not allow the shooting to go on till both director S S Rajamouli and Sunil raised “Jai Telangana” slogans.
The incident led to panic in the shooting camp and disturbed the schedule. In a bit to hurry up the shooting, Sunil fell down from a running bike while participating in a fighting sequence. The shooting had to be called off following injuries to Sunil.
