THE hero of Roja, the evergreen Tamil feature film which portrayed the true love between husband and wife, has applied for divorce.
Aravind Swamy got married to Gayathri in 1994.
They have a son and a daughter.
They have applied for divorce before the principal family court, and the presiding officer adjourned it or further hearing on their petition to December 1.
Meanwhile, Gopi, an assistant producer and hus band of actor Vindhya, applied for divorce before the family court on Tuesday . Gopi married Vindhya in 2008.
But, the couple were living separately due to some mis understanding. However, Vindhya filed an application seeking restoration of conjugal rights. They participated a counselling session held at the mediation cen tre here on Tuesday . The judge has adjourned the matter till July 7.
